D.PHARM. (2 Year Diploma Program)
The Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm.) is a two-year regular diploma programme designed to prepare competent pharmacy professionals for the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors. The programme equips students with fundamental knowledge of pharmaceutical sciences, patient counselling, medication dispensing, and community pharmacy practices.
The curriculum is prescribed by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) to ensure uniform standards of pharmacy education across the country. It combines theoretical learning with practical training, enabling students to meet the evolving needs of hospitals, retail pharmacies, community healthcare services, and the pharmaceutical industry.
Eligibility:
Candidates seeking admission to the D.Pharm. programme must fulfil any one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Passed 10+2 (Science Academic Stream) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Mathematics from a recognized board.
or - Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) as equivalent to the above examination.
